My Mission Expands: Speaking on a National Stage

Mission Expands to Public Speaking Most of you have gotten to know me through my blog posts on this website. By sharing my thoughts and experiences, I hope that you grow in virtue and grow closer to God. I am blessed that my blog has been named in the top 100 websites worldwide by Feedspot.com. Yet, a blog can only reach so many people. There are so many more who need to hear the message of Jesus’ Way – via the virtues, prayer and spirituality. So, in addition to blogging on the virtues (and other points of interest), I also do public speaking engagements on matters related to the Catholic faith. In my engagements, I bring the virtues, prayer and spirituality to life, showing others how they can more easily incorporate them into their daily lives. It is truly a rewarding experience. It is my mission to bring to life Jesus’ Way to others. And now, my mission expands.

In moving from my desktop computer, to the parish hall, I take Christ’s words of wisdom to His faithful. To date, my speaking engagements have been at parishes within my Diocese. Now it’s time to expand my mission. With that expansion, there is a lot of preparatory work involved. For example, a public speaker needs a promotional video that can be used by prospective clients to gauge the authenticity and talent of a speaker.

My Mission Expands

In October, I spoke on the Theological Virtues, at a nearby parish. I’ve given this talk many times before, but what made this one special was that I was videotaped. I had the pleasure of working with Zac Brakefield, from Maximilian Media, who filmed the entire event. From that taping, Zac captured one of my most poignant stories that I share with you today. Here it is – give it a look:

Zac Brakefield, from Maximilian Media

Zac Brakefield is amazing and talented, as well as extremely professional. Known throughout the Diocese of Charlotte, as the go-to guy for filming priestly ordinations, weddings, etc., I couldn’t have been in better hands! Zac Brakefield arrived with multiple cameras, lots of lights, dollies – the whole works! He is a master at videography, and I am blessed to have made his acquaintance. As you can see by watching the video, he knows what he’s doing. I highly recommend him to anyone in the Carolinas  in need of a videographer.

Going Forward…

So, as I set my sights on the national stage, I ask for your prayers. As my mission expands to bring Jesus’ words of wisdom to parishes, just like yours, pray for me that all that I do may be in Jesus’ name. Perhaps I might bring one of my presentations to your very own parish. Wouldn’t that be grand?

To facilitate the process of booking me for a speaking engagement, I partnered with cmgbooking.com, the elite Catholic Speakers Organization. Click here to see my profile and learn how to book an engagement.
