Stop Worrying

Ok, God has graced you with the virtue of fortitude. How do you use it to manage your fears? Worrying about things doesn’t add any value to your life – in fact – it is a waste of your time. Therefore, to practice the virtue of fortitude, stop worrying. Give your worries to God, and let Him take care of them. Stay the course and give the task at hand all that you have to give. Do not give up!

Face your fear and refuse to allow it to conquer you. God is telling you that you are stronger than your fears, especially with Him by your side. Don’t let your fears get in His way of doing wondrous things with you. Plow through, trust in the Lord, and enjoy the sweet smell of victory!

Here is a quote from Mother Angelica, who claims that she is not afraid to fail but fears something else. She gives us food for thought today.

“I’m not afraid to fail…I’m scared to death of dying and having the Lord say to me, ‘Angelica, this is what you might have done, had you trusted me more.’” –Mother Angelica
