In 2011, Virginia decided to leave a 36 year career to give the remainder of her life to God. Her faith, as a Christian, is a central part and driving force in her life. To further equip herself with the knowledge necessary to effectively evangelize on the Catholic faith, Virginia obtained a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Theology from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine in 2014. Upon graduation, Virginia became an adjunct professor at her alma mater. In addition to teaching, Virginia is engaged in public speaking, as well as blogging about the Catholic faith. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, as well as the Catholic Writer’s Guild.
Virginia was born and raised in New Jersey, and now lives in the Charlotte, North Carolina area with her husband, Nick. Virginia obtained both her undergraduate degree in Management and her Masters in Business Administration – Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison, NJ. Her banking career took her from New Jersey to a brief four-year stay in Utah, ultimately establishing roots in North Carolina in 2000. Virginia loves living in the south where the cuisine, sunny, warm weather and hospitality are the finest! She can shop until she drops, loves going to the movies, and of course loves to read.

Journey with Faith as she struggles to make new friends and learns an important lesson in the value of the virtue of patience.
Excerpt from the Book
After school, Faith ran up to her room.
Mama rushed up the stairs and knocked on the door. “Honey, what’s wrong?”
Faith sobbed, “Nobody likes me!”
“No, no,” replied Mama. “They just don’t know you yet.”
“I want to go home,” cried Faith, “to be with my friends!”
Mama took Faith in her arms and said, “Faith, this is our home. Daddy’s job is here and we all need to be together as a family.”

Teaching virtues is an important part of parenting. Virginia Lieto has a wonderful way of weaving the story of a new home and making new friends with gently teaching the virtue of patience. The Adventures of Faith, Hope, and Charity – Finding Patience is a beautifully written and illustrated introduction to what will be an important children’s series on the virtues.
-Tony Agnesi, writer, blogger, radio host
Virginia Lieto beautifully illustrates, with her well-crafted characters, a story that teaches us that sometimes our greatest lessons in patience come in waiting for prayers to be answered. An excellent aide for parents and teachers in encouraging virtues in children!
– Allison Gingras, host, A Seeking Heart on Real Life Radio
Finding Patience is an encouraging companion for children in times of transition, such as moving or starting a new school. For all of us, it illustrates hope-filled lessons in prayer, patience, and trust in God to provide exactly what we need.
