God’s plan for me has brought me so much happiness. I want that same happiness for you! God’s plan for you will bring about so much happiness, if only you let Him show you the way. I’m here to assist you. Living a happier life and developing a closer relationship with God comes by way of embracing virtue. Let me offer you inspiration so that you, too, may grow closer to God, and live a happier life!
On this website, we explore vice and virtue. We look for practical ways of incorporating virtue into our daily lives, such as inspiration to persevere, be patient, show compassion, and act with kindness. We identify the root cause of pain that leads us astray, and show how to get back on track. We’re on a journey; a journey meant to lead us home to God. Will you join me? Will you embrace virtue with me and in the process make this world a happier and better place by doing so?
In 2011, I retired from the auditing profession and made a commitment to give my life to God. I believe that God’s plan for me is far better than anything for which I could conceive. With that commitment, and my faith, I obtained my Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Theology from Saint Joseph’s College of Maine. In my studies, I learned a great deal about Church history, biblical studies, moral values, and social teaching.
Now, in addition to being a Catholic blogger, I am an adjunct professor of Theology, teaching four undergraduate courses for Saint Joseph’s College of Maine’s Online Theology Program. I am also the author of a series of children’s books dedicated to teaching children the value of virtue. The first in the series, Adventures of Faith, Hope, and Charity – Finding Patience is a 2016 National Indie Excellence award Finalist in the Children’s Religion category. The second book in the series, Finding Acceptance, is in process. I am also a public speaker on the Catholic faith. With all this work, I’ve never been happier doing my dream job!
Born and raised in New Jersey, I now live in Harrisburg, North Carolina with my wonderful husband, Nick; married since 1979! I met Nick while attending Fairleigh Dickinson University. There, I obtained both my Bachelor of Science degree in Management and my Masters of Business Administration in Finance. I love living in the south where the cuisine, the sunny warm weather and the hospitality are the best!
